Happy Monday!
Our brains love certainty. When we’re left with an unclear path, our minds will make up stories - usually unhelpful ones.
As leaders, it’s our job to bring as much clarity as possible - even if that clarity comes from the honest, transparent message of “I don’t yet know.”
Lately, I’ve been witnessing the impact that the current happenings in the U.S. government are having on the organizations I work with. It’s a constant rollercoaster and quite the challenge. It’s exactly why this quote from Anna in Frozen II keeps coming to mind:
We’ll never fully escape uncertainty. Life and leadership will always have moments where the big picture is blurry and the path ahead feels unknown. In those times, clarity doesn’t come from having all the answers - it comes from simply choosing the next right step, even when you’re unsure of what follows.
That small, grounding action matters - because the alternative is often getting stuck, spinning out, or making assumptions that take us in the wrong direction.
So whether you’re leading a team through change, navigating a personal transition, or just trying to make sense of what’s next - remember: You don’t have to solve it all. Just take one intentional step.
And I commend you. Your leadership is so necessary and so appreciated!
