WELCOME TO THIS MAGIC MONDAY MOMENT

Kicking off your week with some thoughts around a favorite Disney quote (because in my world - Disney is life!).

original message date: 04/01/24

Happy Monday!

I remember being a little girl and wishing on stars.  Doing so was a safe and hopeful way to quietly share my deepest desires.  There is something magical about the act of picking just the right one (especially a shooting star!), closing your eyes and putting your dreams out in the universe.

I really like the layer of “logic” that Asha from Disney’s newest animated feature “Wish” adds:

As an adult with “real” responsibilities and a “real” job – you might be rolling your eyes at the thought of wishing on stars.

But we all can use a little guidance, a spark of inspiration and a reminder that anything really is possible.

It’s easy for us to get caught up in our day-to-day roles, the never-ending distractions and that pesky part of our brain that offers us unhelpful thoughts and beliefs that hold us back.

We’re busy.  We’re inundated with information.  We’re focused on getting through each day – one at a time.

This is why we need a star in our lives.

What is that star for you?

Maybe it’s a mantra you recite daily. Maybe it’s a practice of journaling. Maybe it’s the best friend, partner or coach in your life. Maybe it’s the act of a quiet walk or sitting in a coffee shop with only your thoughts and good book.

Whatever it is – keep it active in your life. With guidance, inspiration and possibility – you can create the thoughts and actions that will keep you on the path you most want to be on and get the results you most desire to get.

In addition to working with people like you, leaning on friends and family and filling my brain (and social feeds) with inspiring information … you just might still find me wishing on a star every now and then. 😉

Take a minute to identify where your most valuable guidance and inspiration comes from. Commit to making ‘it’ (whatever ‘it’ is for you) a part of your daily life.

Wishing you a wonderful week. You've got this!
