Happy Monday!
On this day that honors Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and in the midst these challenging times as a country – I thought this quote by Judy Hopps from the 2016 Disney movie, Zootopia, felt right:
Doing our part to make the world a better place is about choosing courage in the moments that matter.
Bravery doesn’t have to look big.
The quiet things count too:
Standing up for someone.
Naming what’s not working.
Using your voice when silence would be easier.
Choosing compassion when your patience is thin.
Staying grounded when everything around you feels shaky.
Holding your boundaries with clarity and kindness.
Sharing the light when it feels dark (my friend Jean is inspiring this way!)
Here’s to leading with a little more bravery - and creating the kind of world we want to live in.
This week, pay attention to the small places where your courage is needed. Those are the moments that shape everything.
