Happy Monday!
It’s hard to believe that we are in the final days of 2025! Once we get through the holidays – it will be natural to find ourselves looking back (if you haven’t started that already). Looking at what worked, what didn’t, and everything in between!
I love a good Walt Disney-esque reframe. This one comes from Marty Sklar - Disney Legend, previous Disney Imagineer, and someone who worked directly for Walt from 1955 until Walt’s death in 1966:

Reflection isn’t about reliving the past or judging it. It’s about learning from it - and then letting it inform what comes next.
As leaders (and humans), we can do the same:
· Honor what this year taught us
· Acknowledge both the wins and the misses
· Carry forward the insights and let go of what no longer serves
The goal isn’t to necessarily stay rooted in what was. The goal is to use it as a springboard.
There will be time for goal-setting soon! For now, create a little space.
