There is no better way to start a new year of Magic Monday messages than with a quote from Walt Disney.
This one is especially fitting:
I love that moving forward comes first - because the calendar keeps turning and the clock keeps ticking. Forward is the direction we must go.
And that doesn’t always look like big change or bold decisions. Sometimes it looks like staying open. Sometimes it looks like asking better questions. Sometimes it looks like taking one small step instead of standing still waiting for clarity to magically appear.
And this is where curiosity matters.
Curiosity is what keeps us moving when the path isn’t clear yet. It helps us take the next step without needing the whole plan (that’s a tough one for me!).
As leaders (and humans), we often put pressure on ourselves to know what’s next. But forward movement doesn’t require certainty. It simply requires willingness.
Willingness to explore, try and to open a door, even if we don’t yet know what’s on the other side.
You don’t need to map the entire year today - just take the next curious step!
