I’ve gone deep to find this week’s Disney quote. It’s from the not-so-popular 2001 animated feature “Atlantis: The Lost Empire” with the actual quote being a lyric from the even lesser known song, Where the Dream Takes You.
Nevertheless – it’s a good quote and very Disney-esque. Here it is:
For some, it’s a dream. For others, it might feel more like a vision, aspiration, or goal. Whatever word resonates most with you, it’s often that inner knowing - that “something in your soul” - that keeps urging you forward, especially if you choose to pay attention to it.
And yet, even the clearest vision can feel distant when challenges show up. That’s where faith comes in. Faith gives our dreams and aspirations staying power. It’s what keeps us moving when results take longer than expected. It’s what reminds us that the steps we’re taking, even the small ones, matter.
Sometimes the most important part of pursuing what matters isn’t how fast we get there - it’s trusting the process, and trusting ourselves, along the way. It isn’t always easy – but how would we grow if it was always easy?
