Kicking off your week with some thoughts around a favorite Disney quote (because in my world - Disney is life!).

Happy Monday!
Here's what I know - we all wear a lot of “hats.” Partner, parent, leader, friend, activist, employee - you name it! And with each role, we often need to intentionally pivot how we show up in the moment. It can feel like a lot to carry!
That’s why I loved stumbling across this quote from Mickey and the Beanstalk, part of the 1947 Disney film Fun and Fancy Free. Willie the Giant discovers a spell and exclaims:
It’s a cute Disney moment that carries an element of truth for us. We each have the ability to decide who we’re going to be in any situation. It’s such good news that we’re not locked into yesterday’s patterns or stuck with our default reactions!
With awareness and intention, we get to choose how we show up. That might look like the calm voice in a tense situation, the cheerleader when morale is low, or the decision-maker when clarity is needed.
Here are some questions you can ask yourself at any time:
· Who do I want to be in this situation?
· How do I want to show up for my team, my family, or myself?
· What choice today aligns with the person I aspire to be?
✨ The magic is that you don’t have to wait for a spell book. You already have the agency to shift, to grow, and to lead with intention!
