Message from Din Djarin / The Mandalorian

WELCOME TO THIS MAGIC MONDAY MOMENT

Kicking off your week with some thoughts around a favorite Disney quote (because in my world - Disney is life!).

original message date: 10/12/26

Happy Monday!

I spend a lot of my time in the space of self-awareness and mindset – which means a lot of conversations about fear of failure, lack of confidence and how we manage our reactions. Layer on the continuous, nearly unbearable things going on in our country, and the desire to crawl into a cave for a while creeps in more often than I’d like. Thanks to that same focus on intentional mindset, I also have the tools to reset and remember my priorities, my values and my why.

Crawling into the cave or staying out in the world? Din Djarin (better known as The Mandalorian) put it more simply in the 2026 film Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu:

That question shows up for all of us. Sometimes it’s after a failure: the project that flopped, the plan that fell apart, the thing you tried that didn’t work.

Honestly? Sometimes it’s quieter. You spoke up in the meeting and nobody heard you. You said the thing that mattered and the conversation moved right past it.

And sometimes it’s the hardest version. You look around and notice that the people doing the least good are the loudest. They take up the space and set the tone. And you start wondering whether it’s even worth trying.

That’s when running looks pretty attractive. Go quiet or pull back. Let someone else deal with it.

Here’s what I’ve learned: Fighting doesn’t always mean being louder. Most of the time it means staying in it. It means focusing on the good. It means remembering that your gifts, your joys and your goodness is needed. It means doing the good work anyway, even when it seems like it doesn’t matter. It does matter. It matters more than the noise.

It’s true that not every fight is yours and stepping back is the right call. The difference is whether you’re choosing it or just reacting to it.

Failure, fear, defeat or the loudest voice – those don’t the final word. You do.

This week - do one good thing each day – even if nobody will notice.

Wishing you a wonderful week. You've got this!
