WELCOME TO THIS MAGIC MONDAY MOMENT

Kicking off your week with some thoughts around a favorite Disney quote (because in my world - Disney is life!).

Happy Monday!

One of my core leadership (and life) philosophies is this: lead for the greater good.

I say it so much – I just might start calling it the “GG” (I mean – teens make up language all the time – why can’t I?).

The phrase "greater good" (GG) generally refers to a course of action that benefits the majority of people, even if it is at the expense of individual interests. It's about the collective benefit ... and is grounded by basic regard for humanity.

So when I recently came across this quote said by Frozone from Pixar’s The Incredibles – I had to share it:

In the movie it’s delivered in a moment of comic frustration – but it hits differently when you think about leadership.

The best leaders are grounded in purpose. They make decisions through the lens of what’s best for the whole - not just their comfort, status, or personal gain. And not to feed their ego.

We’ve all seen what happens when leadership becomes self-serving. Heck, it’s happening in the United States as we speak.

When voices are silenced, decisions are made in isolation, and division grows - real people suffer. That kind of leadership might feel powerful to the one in charge - but it erodes trust, connection, and long-term impact.

Leading for the greater good doesn’t mean everyone always agrees. It means people feel seen, heard, and part of something bigger. They know they matter. They know they’re cared for.

It’s about basic humanity.

GG is where it’s at. You with me?

Where in your leadership might you refocus on the greater good?

Wishing you a wonderful week. You've got this!
