Kicking off your week with some thoughts around a favorite Disney quote (because in my world - Disney is life!).

Happy Monday!
As we come off the holiday weekend and head into the hustle, bustle, and moments of serenity December brings — I’d like to offer a quote that invites self-reflection (because that is, after all, magic) yet does so in a simple way.
The quote is by the character, Glordon, from Disney’s 2025 film, Elio:
When I heard it, I immediately thought: What if we spoke to ourselves like that?
Because if we’re honest… our inner voices don’t always sound like Glordon. We might say things like: • “I should be further along by now.” • “People will notice if I mess this up.” • “I don’t know enough yet.” But what if it doesn’t need to be harder? What if it just needs to be kinder – especially toward ourselves?
“Hey… I like you. And you seem fine to me.”
Your inner voice has good intentions. At the core – it’s trying to look out for you. But you don’t have to let it take the lead. If you shift what you believe - even a little – imagine how you might appreciate yourself in a different light.
Confidence doesn’t always come from performing or proving. Sometimes it begins accepting where you are right now.
