Here are some things I know…and think about a lot:
Life is full of ups and downs.
Plans don’t always go the way we expect.
We are each the author of our own story.
And everyone deserves grace.

I love this reminder because it’s so easy - especially as leaders - to focus on what’s messy “out there.” Other people’s choices, systems and processes that frustrate us, circumstances we can’t control…
I also know this…real change doesn’t begin out there. It begins in here. It’s an inside job. This might look like:
Owning the times we’ve stumbled instead of hiding them.
Choosing to respond with grace, curiosity, or courage - even when it feels more comfortable not to.
Deciding to model the kind of leadership we wish we had ourselves.
So, tap into your uniqueness and take ownership. Change doesn’t need to be big or dramatic - it begins with small, intentional choices that create ripples of impact.
