My quotes seem to be following a theme the last few weeks.…you can tell where my head has been!
Humans are complex, living in a complex world. There tends to be a lot of noise (globally, nationally, locally, in our workplaces…) that impacts us and our relationships in a variety of ways. It can create chaos, stress, divisiveness, isolation – just to name a few less-than-positive things.
Snow White provides this very simple reminder that there is a human need we all have the power to provide any time, anywhere, when she said this in the 2025 live-action version of Snow White:
That’s it. No fancy plan. No books to read, courses to take or frameworks to memorize.
Just kindness.
And not the surface-level, put-on-a-happy face kind.
But the real kind - the kind that sees others as a worthy human, that creates space for curiosity and compassion, that fosters a real in-the-moment connection, and that chooses to believe in the good even when it's hard to find.
I know that kindness doesn’t fix everything, but it does shift the energy. It makes connection possible. And it reminds that we are all human with our unique stories, struggles and joys.
✨ Because when the world feels like too much, kindness is something we can always choose.
