Kicking off your week with some thoughts around a favorite Disney quote (because in my world - Disney is life!).

Happy Monday!
This weekend, we had my daughter’s high school graduation party. And next weekend – I will watch her walk across a stage and step into a whole new chapter of her life. 😭
The quote that hits me right now was said by Timothy Mouse to Dumbo in the classic Disney animated film of the same name, Dumbo:
Here's a character who spent most of his story believing his greatest gift…those enormous ears…was actually his biggest flaw. He thought the magic was in the feather. He thought that “just flying”was the whole point.
But Timothy Mouse told him to do more than “just fly”. He told him to soar. That is a whole different story!
To me - soaring is flying on purpose. When it’s on purpose – it’s with belief and with your whole self.
A lot of us are flying right now. We're showing up, doing the work, and managing what’s on our plate. That's real – so don’t discount it!
But, what might be different if you moved beyond simply flying into intentionally soaring?
Soaring changes things. It's the difference between managing your life and truly leading it.
My daughter is about to soar. I believe that all of us can too.
No feather needed.
This week, ask yourself: where am I just showing up - and where am I showing up on purpose?
